Contact Electricity Launch

Briefed to create a memorable stunt using their company logo, Inside Out Productions set out to make Contact Electricity a household name in New Zealand. A stunt is by its nature a singular event, so it has to be noticed and remembered. Inside Out Productions had to find something everyone associated with electricity that was friendly enough to promote the brand and announce the company’s presence. A massive 30m x 30m smiling and winking plug, created out of 1,000 lights and 2500 watts of power was made, giving enormous exposure to the new company, which was enhanced by having its logo set on a floating crane carrying the plug sailing around the entire Auckland Harbour.
